BORU is right -- Matthew Sweet looks like he stole John Popper's cookbook.  And then ate it. 

But, what I'm more surprised at is that Susanna Hoffs is STILL HOT!  She's gotta be, like, 50, but she still looks like she did when she was walking like an Egyptian in my room on manic mondays (tho' maybe a bit more Botox'd).

Matthew Sweet is a BIG star!

This post doesn't have anything to do with politics.  I was just watching Conan O'Brien and the musical guests were Matthew Sweet (he of the 90's semi-alternative navel-gazing fame) and Suzzana Hoffs (former lead singer of the Bangles).  When Conan announced it at the beginning of the show, I thought, hmmmm that could be interesting.  Well, the song they sang was tired and seemingly unending but what really caught my attention is that Matthew Sweet is like 5 times the man he used to be!  Dude is huge!  I know why the rest of the Bangles weren't there - he ate them!  Picture Rosie O'Donnell with mutton chops - or just picture Rosie O'Donnell with a guitar.

I can't believe how much he has changed.  After suffering thru one of his live shows just to be around a guy I liked who was a fan of Sweet's, I can say I am glad he has turned to drowning his troubles in caramel and Hershey's syrup instead of torturing listener's with his whiny Clinton-era castrati song lyrics.  Okay - enuff Perez Hilton style gossip cattiness;  back to politics after this one.
