Americans love lists. That's why shows like the Top 40 countdown or the 30 sexiest women of country music so popular and why the weekly college football rankings are followed so closely. It's because we love to categorize things.
Sitting here in my office at the end of the day, I decided to carry on the great American tradition of listing things by categorizing America's friends and enemies in the world. Do you agree with me? Am I being too generous to some or unfair to others?
Friends: United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Pakistan, Israel, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, the Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Denmark, the Netherlands, Portugal, Egypt, Kuwait
Enemies: China, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, Cuba
Enemy - Enablers: France, Russia, Spain, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia
It seems to me that we have more friends around the world than enemies, but what do I know?
