You mean the sky ISN'T falling?

That's it -- I'm returning my copy of "Earth In The Balance."

The boys over at Wizbang! are debunking yet another breathless MSM (this time, the BBC) "report" on global warming.  Check out their retorts here and here

BUT -- Aha! I've got news for those fancy Wizbang! boys.  I've conducted my OWN informal global warming experiments -- consisting of looking out the window from my office on Michigan Ave. -- and come to the shocking -- shocking! -- conclusion that global warming really does exist!

Observe:

The following is a picture of Millennium Park -- located across the street from my office -- as taken by the US Equities webcam on January 22, 2005 at approximately 9:00 a.m.:

Now, the following is a picture of the same location, on February 16, 2005 at approximately 9:11 a.m.:

SEE THE DIFFERENCE?!?  In less than a month -- one month! -- the glaciers that once roamed the park have receded, and the Lake threatens to overtake it.  Something must be done to stop this "phenomenon."  Clearly, this must be the Bush administration's fault....

I think I'm now qualified to become either the Supreme Leader of Greenpeace or, at least, a reporter for the BBC....
